The end is near, Game of Thrones fans. The Season 3 finale (“Mhysa”) will air next week (June 9), and based on this promo, it looks like the Northerners will find out what happened to King of the North, Robb Stark, at the Twins. “The Northerners will never forget,” says Tyrion.
Meanwhile, it looks like Asha Greyjoy returns in next week’s finale, as does Jaime Lannister. Has he finally made it home to King’s Landing? And we don’t know about you, but we’re definitely looking forward to Tywin going head-to-head with his bratty grandson, King Joffrey. He’s the only one who can truly put the boy king in his place.
As for the episode’s title, “Mhysa” sounds like the “Mother” chant that the slaves in Yunkai use to greet Daenerys when she enters the city. So will that be where Season 3 ends? Will we have to wait to get to Meereen on Season 4? Oh, and did we mention there were dragons?
“Mhysa” synopsis: Joffrey challenges Tywin. Bran tells a ghost story. In Dragonstone, mercy comes from strange quarters. Dany waits to see if she is a conqueror or a liberator. (Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by David Nutter.)
We are sure “Game of Thrones” fans will want to discuss Sunday night’s 9th episode of the season, titled “The Rains of Castamere.” You can do so in the comments below, but we caution that you should watch the episode first before reading the feedback!
HBO will air the season finale, “Mhysa,” next Sunday and you can watch a preview below.
